Another Sunny Day at Brookwood!

Wilson loves Jack the Dog!  (Wells Fargo Bank's Mascot)

Did you know?

Mascots, by definition, are animals, people or objects that are “charms” thought to bring good luck. The mascot then becomes a symbol of the group that has adopted it. Wells Fargo’s early days saw the use of dogs for protection and companionship, which led to Jack the Dog as the Wells Fargo mascot.

Greg devotes so much of his time, energy and talents to Brookwood, enriching our citizens' lives with fun activities, parties (like last night's New Year's Eve party), concerts, visits from sports teams, fun exercise programs, horse-pulled carriage rides and so much more!!!

Thank you to our Volunteers!

We were blessed to have so many of our Brookwood Volunteers as well as a great crew of Volunteers from the Second Baptist Church of Katy who served the meal and cake and beverages to our citizens and their guests to help ring in the New Year.  They, along with our Cafeteria staff who prepared the meal, and many of our home teachers and other staff members who helped out, made last night's celebration move along smoothly.

Our wonderful volunteers (and parents!), helping out by serving the cake last night.
