Lakewood Church of Houston held a carnival at Brookwood last Saturday, transforming the grounds into a fun wonderland for families with special needs children, as well as for the Brookwood citizens.
The program began in our Chapel, where the Ring Leader announced
each family as they entered. Our Handbell Choir and Sunshine Singers
entertained our guests, before all going out to the Carnival on that
beautiful spring day!
The event was coordinated by Greg Glauser, Brookwood's Activities guru,
and was set up and run by volunteers and staff from Lakewood Church,
who even assisted our 300 guests with parking!
Thanks for introducing new friends to us, Lakewood! We hope this will become an annual event.
